2011 summer or rides

This was Mya's first big roller coaster. The height requirement was 36" Mya was only 32". Somehow Matt got her on the ride and she loved it. I tried to ride the rollar coaster with her and the helpful amusement park employee pointed out that she is way to small for the ride.

She loved the Airplanes. Mya loves the back of the ride.

It seems like this post is all about Mya. Nope, Matt and Avery were at the amusement park too, but Mya did all the fun rides.

It is not a trip to the park with out getting a really big monkey. It is a good thing her dad is good at shooting baskets because this summer Mya got 2 big monkeys, a big crab, a big fish, several bears and we also won some bears for some neighbor kids too. What a lucky girl!

2011 Summer

We spent lots of time at the park this summer. Mya loved to swing.

Avery spent lots of time in her carseat.

Mya loved the big slide.

We love to spend time with Mari and Aaron
.

This is potty training bootcamp. It just took one good day of me totally stressing out and some good advise from friends and Mya was potty trained! GO MYA. Both pictures are Mya in potty training bootcamp.

We went to the nature park. Mya loves her sunglasses.

Avery is growing everyday!

This is what happens when I help Matt with yard work. I hate wasps!

2011 July 4 part 2

After the parade we had half the neigborhood over for some fireworks. I think we invited all the pyromaniacs because our show was amazing!

Avery did loved her first firework show. We had to go onto the poarch because there was so much smoke.

Our local parade.

Our cousins were in the parade. So exciting!

Avery's first parade. Cami's 132nd!

July 2011 Horses

Mya went to the Robinson's house and was treated like a queen. Matt was there with the Young Men. Mya got to ride her first horse.

She also was able to swing on the horse walker. It was better than most rides at an amusment park.

She was able to feed the horses too. It was a great day in the life of Mya. She loves to visit the Robinson's she still talkes about Poco and Whiz.

Mya Says 2

Here are some things that I wanted to document before I forget:

While we were potty training Mya I asked her to sit on the potty. She went into the bathroom and came out. I asked her if she went pee. She said,"I can't pee. My bum needs batteries."

One morning this last week Mya suddenly said, "Mom, it was really sad when Jesus died." I was surprised by this comment and said, "Yes Mya, it was really sad." She responded, "But it is ok because he was resurrected.""You bought me a new car" We went into the garage to see the car and she said, "Oh, it is a little bit little" Then she half hugged the bumper and half tried to lift it up. Then she said, "you get in the front, I drive." I guess she really thought it was her car. What a lucky 2 year old she is!

Mya Says

I thought I would archive some cute things that Mya says:

When Mya puts her pointer fingers on my cheeks I will move my eyes quickly from side to side. Just today I put my fingers on her cheeks hoping she would do the same. She said, "It doesn't work. It needs batteries. My cheeks need batteries."

Our soil is clay and you can grab a clump of dirt you can form it into pottery or whatever you like. My 9 year old nephew, Aaron, decided to make his clump of clay look like poop. It could have fooled me. It looked like what I scoop up in my back yard. He and Mari were passing Aaron's creation back and forth between them and laughing, because at their age poop is hilarious. Mya saw what they were doing and came to me and said, "Mom, I want to ho-coo poop" it now is a phrase at Cami's house that will cause giggles anytime of day.

At Mya's 2 year doctor appointment my doctor asked how many words Mya has in her vocabulary. I quickly told her, "All of them." she asked if Mya has at least 50 words. I was a proud to tell her that Mya can sign over 100 words and says more words than I have counted. She is such a smart cookie!
