Headstand

I am not really one to take pictures when I am expecting but I just wanted to make sure that I could still do this.

Disney on Ice

Mya and I went to Disney on Ice with Hilary and Grace. When the show started Mya was scared and wouldn't watch or let go of my neck. When she realized that there was dancing she was excited and enjoyed the show.

Matt wanted me to get Mya a souvenir so I picked up a nice overpriced toy that I thought she would like. It was a Mickey Mouse globe on a stick that had confetti and lights that spun around when you pushed a button. I asked Mya if she wanted me to buy it. She said no and gave it back to the vendor. I was not sad that I was able to keep my $22.

Hospital Visitors

Avery and I spent 4 days in the hospital and loved it.

Avery's Birth

This was the fastest delivery ever. We checked into the hospital at 7am for our 9 am "cut time". Our Dr. called and said that she would be late because she had another delivery at another hospital. Just a few minutes later, she came in and we were off to the delivery room. At 9:11 I got an epidural. Dr. Silver was the Anesthesiologist. He was the nicest man ever. At 9:35 Avery Jean Bright was born. She was 20 inches long and weighed the same as Mya, 6 pounds 13 ounces. At 9:52 I was in the recovery room. The nurse said that Julia was so fast that she could hardly keep up her charting.
