Mya's Birthday

I can't believe my little girl is 2 years old already. She has brought lots of love and laughter to our home and we love her very very much.

For Mya's Birthday we went to the mall and rode the horses in the food court.

We also rode the train with Mari and Aaron.

Mya loves the Disney movie Tangled. She was very excited to have Tangled for a cake. When she saw the cake for the first time she asked, "Where is Ever?" Ever is Flynn Rider and Tangled is, of course, Rapunzel.

Say Cheese

My camera makes a musical chime noise when I turn it on. I thought Avery looked so cute sleeping. I snapped a few cute pictures of Avery before Mya came running to have her picture taken saying, "I say CHEESE." She doesn't quite know that when she says "cheese" she should be smiling so we get the face in the middle picture. In the third picture Mya is trying to hug her sister.

BAM BAM BAM

We have a book about the sounds on Sesame Street. On one page it says, "Oscar's hammer goes, 'BAM, BAM, BAM.'" I thought it was funny to watch Mya hit the shapes and say "BAM, BAM, BAM" with a loud raspy voice. She does it just like I do when I read the book. It makes me nervous to have her do as I do even when I am not paying attention.

Easter

Mya's easter basket was very simple. She got a package of headbands, package of hair clips, 2 small packages of candy, and a coloring book. She was most excited about the package of head bands. After she put them all on her head she put the clips in her hair then ate the only 2 packages of candy in her basket. She did share one piece of candy with me.

Wrapped Tight

Mya likes to have all of her blankets "wrapped tight" around her after nap time and whenever she feels like being silly. She also started using a doll binky just like her little sister. One time, and only one time, she wanted her arms to be "wrapped tight" inside her blanket (not pictured). After she was wrapped I left to do something else. A few minutes later, I founder laying on the ground crying because she couldn't get up. Now we only "wrap tight" with arms out.
